Trade Compliance AP

What You'll Do

Main tasks:

• Global Responsibilities
• Perform and maintain HS classification for all products across global locations
• Conduct research using tariff schedules, rulings, explanatory notes, and product documen-tation
• Maintain classification documentation, justification files, and audit records
• Monitor global HS and trade regulation changes and recommend updates
• Support internal and external audits related to classification
• Support export control compliance by collecting and reviewing product classification data

APAC Regional Responsibilities

• Support APAC sites with day-to-day trade compliance processes and inquiries
• Drive continuous improvement of trade compliance procedures in the region
• Conduct regional trade risk monitoring
• Support internal compliance assessments and follow up on corrective actions
• Support implementation of Group policies, SOPs, training, and awareness programs in APAC
• Contribute to APAC compliance reporting and communication
• Any other tasks as and when assigned by the management

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree or above in International Business, Supply Chain, Law, or related field
• Technical affinity; ability to interpret product spec-ifications
• 5+ years of experience in import/export, trade compliance, or consultant
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP and/or SAP GTS preferred)
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Detail-oriented and structured
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent English and able to communicate both verbally and writing to all levels of management.
• Ability to deal with time constraints and dead-lines; manage multiple priorities; self-actuated
• Ability to work independently in a global structure
• Curious, proactive, and motivated to grow within trade compliance
