Business Development Specialist

Summary

The role is responsible for promoting and selling field devices to HVAC-related customers and vertical markets.  The job holder focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing accounts, and building strong relationships with engineers, contractors, and building owners. It also involves promoting BELIMO’s HVAC product solutions, supporting product specification in new projects, and uncovering opportunities in existing buildings for system upgrades, replacements, and efficiency improvements.  The role plays a vital part for expanding the customer base, developing and maintaining strong client relationships, increasing market share, achieving group sales targets, and strengthening the company’s overall market presence.

What You'll Do

•    Develop and manage relationships with contractors, developers, and key stakeholders in the HVAC and building automation industry. and expanding market presence for BELIMO’s HVAC automation and control solutions
•    Initiate customer engagement through regular visits and meeting to build strong relationships to position products early in the project.
•    Present products and solutions to clients and collaborate closely with RAC to align solutions with project specifications.
•    Support sales growth and contribute to increased sales performance of the country and generate leads and create opportunities, ensuring seamless handoff to internal teams and external partners or distributors.
•    Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities across commercial, industrial, and institutional projects; Maintain accurate CRM records, supported by a healthy pipeline and forecast to achieve sales targets.
•    Monitor projects to ensure products are specified and considered; Consistently follow up to advance opportunities from initial engagement to project completion. 
•    Coordinate with internal teams (SD and RAC) and external partners/distributors to ensure effective collaboration and successful project acquisition.
•    Provide regular updates on sales activities and customer feedback to SD. Meet KPIs such as number of leads generated, meetings, and conversion rates.

Who You Are

•    Bachelor’s degree in engineering course (preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics)
•    Minimum 5 years' experience in sales, business development or a similar role, preferably in the HVAC industry, construction, or related industries.
•    Networking ability and relationship management skills Negotiation and persuasion skills 
•    Ability to engage engineers, consultants, contractors, and facilities managers
•    Self-motivated, target driven, and result-oriented mindset
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills for effective interaction with customers
•    Valid driver’s license; Physically fit and able to travel frequently around the country to do field work and client visits
•    Must be residing within Metro Manila
