With the commissioning workflow for PR actuators, application-dependent, predefined settings can be selected easily and quickly and then written to the actuator. The PRCA-S2-T-.. actuators are programmed at the factory for 2-way open/close applications. This means that no adjustments need to be made for the use as a 2-way open/close butterfly valve. However, if the most important parameters need to be reset later to ensure the proper functioning in 2-way open/close applications, this can be easily done using the commissioning workflow. The necessary parameters can be adjusted in just a few steps using the commissioning workflow. The adjusted parameters include setting the maximum position (opening angle) to 100% and the control to open/close, 3-point.

For the use as a 2-way control butterfly valve with a linear characteristic curve, the necessary parameters can be adjusted in just a few steps using the commissioning workflow. The adjusted parameters include the reduction of the maximum position (opening angle) to 60% and setting a linear characteristic curve. A linear characteristic curve is only possible in combination with Belimo butterfly valves and is not suitable for retrofit applications.
