Summary
As a Product Manager Edge Software, you will play a key role in shaping the digital future of building automation. You will be responsible for the strategic evolution of our edge software platforms, HVAC applications, and connected digital capabilities throughout their entire lifecycle. Working closely with Engineering, Product Management, Sales, and Marketing, you will drive innovative software solutions that create measurable customer value and accelerate the transformation from hardware-centric products to software-driven offerings.
What You'll Do
- Own the complete lifecycle of edge software platforms, HVAC applications, and digital capabilities – from vision and roadmap definition to market launch and phase-out.
- Develop and execute product strategies, roadmaps, and priorities aligned with business line objectives and evolving market requirements.
- Consolidate requirements from global business lines and translate them into clear product specifications, development backlogs, and actionable outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate connected solutions and ensure successful implementation in close collaboration with engineering teams.
- Build and validate business cases while continuously monitoring customer needs, market developments, and emerging technology trends to strengthen the product portfolio.
- Support global go-to-market activities through close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and other key stakeholders across the organization.
Who You Are
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Several years of experience in product management within embedded software, IoT solutions, building automation, or digital platforms.
- Strong understanding of modern digital technologies such as edge computing, cloud solutions, and connected systems, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into customer and business value.
- Strategic thinker with a solid understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and business requirements.
- Proven ability to align diverse stakeholders, drive change, and develop collaborative solutions across functions and regions.
- Passionate about digital transformation, highly self-driven, and motivated to work in an international environment with globally distributed teams.
