Designer EFZ (Federal Certificate of Proficiency)
As a draughtsman, you apply creative methods to search for solutions for technical problems.
In an initial step, you use sketches to formulate ideas, after which you make 3-D drawings of them on the computer and create production plans for this purpose. Planning is a very important part of your work.
The training period is 4 years and is divided into two phases.
You will spend the first year at AZO Uster, where you will learn the necessary fundamentals of the profession.
After completion of the basic training comes the switch to Belimo itself, where you extend the knowledge you have gained in the field of device/apparatus construction. For this, you proceed though various operations areas such as development, production, receiving, operating materials construction, product testing, product maintenance and applications research.
The intermediate examination takes place at the end of the second apprenticeship year. Furthermore, you also have the opportunity of learning the highest technical standards at the AZO Uster.
The final examination of the apprenticeship is an in-house individual productive work.
