Logistics technician EFZ (Federal Certificate of Proficiency)
As a logistics technician, you are active not only in warehouse spaces at service, trade or production operations, but also in letter and packet centres, in mail delivery, in freight distribution centres or at railway stations and terminals. Do you like to tackle challenges? If so, then this is the ideal profession for you.
At Belimo, the warehouse is the control centre of our logistics. We turn over many hundreds of tons of merchandise per week. These are purchased components, assemblies, actuators manufactured by Belimo and purchased finished products .
During your three-year training, you become familiar with all of the areas in our Logistics Department. These include goods receiving, warehouse, co-ordination, intralogistics and shipping.
Following a good introduction, you accomplish the tasks on your own and ensure that our customers, both domestic and foreign, receive the correct goods at the agreed time and at the correct location.
What you contribute.
For training as a logistics technician, we require Secondary School B, Middle School or equivalent training. In the subjects of mathematics and German, we expect at least average-level marks.

- Practical comprehension, ability to see interrelationships
- Stamina and concentration
- Sense of service
- Robust health
Who will supervise you.
Our professional trainer for logistics technicians is Thomas Schiess. Thomas started at Belimo in 2019 as the Group Head for Shipping. Since then he has been supervising apprentices and passing along his wide-ranging logistics expertise to them.
The Head of our Professional Training Department is Rolf Indermaur from the Human Resources Department. Rolf also has many years of experience supervising apprentices and is always available to offer advice and help.
