Die 46. ordentliche Generalversammlung vom 29. März 2021 fand erneut unter Ausschluss einer physischen Teilnahme der Aktionäre statt. Gestützt auf die Verordnung 3 über Massnahmen zur Bekämpfung des Coronavirus (COVID-19) vom 19. Juni 2020 hatte der Verwaltungsrat angeordnet, dass Aktionärinnen und Aktionäre ihr Stimmrecht ausschliesslich durch die Erteilung einer Vollmacht und Weisungen an die unabhängige Stimmrechtsvertreterin ausüben können.

Zonenanwendungen in Wohn- und Geschäftsgebäuden, aber auch Lüftungssysteme für Schulen und Wohnhäuser erfordern kleine, zuverlässige und kosteneffiziente Antriebslösungen. Eine bedarfsgeregelte Lüftung senkt die Energiekosten, reduziert den CO2-Ausstoss und verbessert die Luftqualität und das Wohlbefinden.

Bedingt durch die COVID-19 Massnahmen einzelner Länder oder Regionen nehmen die globalen Schwierigkeiten im Transportwesen wieder zu. Bleiben die derzeitigen Bedingungen jedoch bestehen, erwarten wir keine allgemeine Zunahme der Produktlieferzeiten sowie keine verminderte Verfügbarkeit. Nach wie vor gelten in allen unseren Standorten strikte Sicherheits- und Hygienemassnahmen, so dass wir jederzeit ein sicheres Arbeitsumfeld garantieren können. Wir danken all unseren Mitarbeitenden für ihren unermüdlichen Einsatz, welcher es ermöglicht, unsere hohe Qualität und Produktverfügbarkeit auch in diesen turbulenten Zeiten zu erhalten.

Belimo hat sich angesichts eines unsicheren Umfelds und schrumpfenden HLK-Markts gut behauptet und hat es geschafft, den Umsatz in Lokalwährungen zu halten. Gleichzeitig baute die Gruppe Marktanteile aus.

Lukas Eigenmann, Leiter des Konzernbereichs Europa und Mitglied der Konzernleitung, hat sich entschieden, per Ende 2021 von seiner Funktion zurückzutreten. Er kann auf zwölf erfolgreiche Jahre in seiner aktuellen Funktion und gesamthaft auf über 36 engagierte Jahre bei Belimo zurückblicken. Lukas Eigenmann bleibt bis Ende 2022 im Unternehmen, um die Einführung seiner Nachfolge optimal zu unterstützen. Danach wird er der Gruppe beratend zur Verfügung stehen.

Der Verwaltungsrat der BELIMO Holding AG hat Dr. Elena Cortona zum neuen CTO, zur Leiterin des Konzernbereichs Innovation und Mitglied der Konzernleitung ernannt. Elena Cortona übernimmt die Aufgabe von Louis Scheidegger, Leiter des Konzernbereichs Produktion, der den Konzernbereich Innovation ad interim leitet.

Angesichts einer noch nie da gewesenen Krise meisterte Belimo das erste Halbjahr 2020 bemerkenswert gut. Das Unternehmen konnte während der COVID-19-Pandemie jederzeit sowohl ein hohes Serviceniveau als auch eine hohe Produktverfügbarkeit garantieren. Insgesamt sank der Umsatz im ersten Halbjahr 2020 um 5.6 Prozent auf CHF 335.5 Millionen. Währungsbereinigt verzeichnete das Unternehmen einen Umsatzrückgang von 1.4 Prozent.

Belimo blickt auf ein erfolgreiches Geschäftsjahr zurück. Es ist der Gruppe gelungen, einen Betriebsgewinn (EBIT) von CHF 123.9 Millionen entsprechend einer EBIT-Marge von 17.9 Prozent zu erzielen. Der Reingewinn stieg gegenüber der Vergleichsperiode um 40.5 Prozent auf CHF 121.1 Millionen.

An der kommenden Generalversammlung schlägt der Verwaltungsrat der BELIMO Holding AG Stefan Ranstrand zur Wahl ins bisher fünfköpfige Gremium vor.

Die Belimo-Gruppe zieht auch für das Jahr 2019 eine sehr positive Bilanz. In Schweizer Franken stieg der Nettoumsatz um 7.8 Prozent auf CHF 692.7 Millionen. Währungsbereinigt erzielte Belimo ein Wachstum von 9.2 Prozent.

Belimo feiert 100 Millionen ausgelieferte Antriebe weltweit und schreibt damit seine Erfolgsgeschichte weiter. All diese Produkte optimieren die Energieeffizienz in Gebäuden ohne dabei auf Komfort verzichten zu müssen. Anfangs Jahr lieferte Belimo seinen 100 millionsten Antrieb aus und erreichte damit einen weiteren Meilenstein in der Firmengeschichte. Controlling and monitoring indoor levels of carbon dioxide is essential for everyone’s health, safety, and the energy efficiency of buildings. Similar to how we need to breathe fresh air, so do buildings. Ventilation in a building is the essential process of replacing stale air with fresh air. Without engineered ventilation, buildings become susceptible to stagnant air, mold, bacteria, and potentially harmful gasses like radon, VOCs (volatile organic compounds), and carbon dioxide.
