Indoor Air Quality Training Programs
The objective of our HVAC webinars and training programs is to educate further seasoned service technicians, facility managers, distributors, control contractors, building owners on real-world problems and solutions on Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and the importance of occupancy health and efficient system performance. Our offerings are organized and held worldwide.
Joint Webinars on the Topics of Healthy Indoor Air
Energy-Efficient Indoor Air Quality (Europe)
Organized by Camfil and Belimo
In this webinar, which Camfil and Belimo co-host, you will learn the importance of a healthy indoor climate for occupant comfort and well-being. And how to achieve excellent indoor air quality using energy-efficient technology from industry-leading companies.
Indoor Air Quality Outlook
Organized by Thermal Control Business Update (TCBU) Magazine (Asia Pacific)
TCBU organized a live interactive session on “Indoor Air Quality Outlook.” In this session, the industry’s leading experts talked about integrating technologies and equipment to cater to India’s ever-increasing demand for indoor air cooling quality. They also discussed the environmental challenges and how industries and government policies play a pivotal role in promoting and improving the quality of indoor air cooling.
IAQ Control for Healthy, Resilient, Low Energy Buildings (USA)
William P. Bahnfleth, PhD, PE, Professor of Architectural Engineering, The Pennsylvania State University
Decades of evidence indicate that current minimum standards for indoor air quality (IAQ) are responsible for avoidable healthcare costs and productivity losses resulting from normal levels of indoor air contaminants. Recent experience also shows that buildings designed to such standards lack the resilience to protect occupants effectively during infectious disease outbreaks and outdoor air events like wildfires. However, while there is growing recognition that IAQ standards and best practices should change, there is also concern that improving IAQ will increase the energy consumption of buildings and impede progress toward environmental protection goals. This program will review some of the fundamental concerns regarding current IAQ standards and explore methods for improving IAQ with little or no adverse impact on energy use. In particular, it will consider the potential for more extensive and sophisticated use of dynamic IAQ control to deliver high indoor environmental quality where and when it is needed.
Basic Requirements for HVAC Systems for Healthy Indoor Air Quality
People spend approximately 90 percent of their time indoors, and breathe 12,000 liters of air per day. It is therefore important to understand the powerful influence that indoor air quality has on our wellbeing. Belimo shares its deep insights into the effects of indoor humidity, VOC and central air treatment systems and presents valuable suggestions for your health.
Belimo interviewed consulting engineers and experts in the ventilation sector around the world to identify the priorities when aspiring to create a healthy indoor air environment in a building. In the process, 7 essential factors for ensuring healthy indoor air in non-residential buildings have emerged.
