What You'll Do
- Lead, manage, and mentor a small team of software technical leads and embedded developers.
- Develop team capabilities in communication, project management, and technical skills.
- Coordinate with internal and external development partners to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Oversee technical execution from concept to final release.
- Support technical leads in managing distributed development activities.
- Serve as the central contact for technical topics across Hardware, I&V, and Sensing teams.
- Ensure effective integration of embedded platform features (e.g., RTOS, Matlab/Simulink).
- Translate project requirements into clear technical tasks and cohesive software architecture.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
- Proven team leadership experience in the field of embedded software development.
- Strong hands-on background in embedded software design and implementation and understanding of embedded systems including sensing and control hardware.
- Deep knowledge of embedded platforms such as RTOS or Matlab/Simulink-based environments.
- Experience in project management and ability to collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (Hardware, QA, etc.).
- Ideally familiar with industrial communication stacks (e.g., Modbus, BACnet, KNX).
- Fluent English and German
