In the first half-year 2017, the Belimo Group increased its sales by 5.3 percent to CHF 288.5 million, adjusted for currencies by 5.6 percent. Operating income before interest and taxes (EBIT) amounted to CHF 49.1 million in the first half-year 2017, which equates to an operating margin of 17.0 percent (comparison period 2016 17.1 percent). Net income amounted to CHF 38.4 million (CHF 37.8 million).

The Annual General Meeting of BELIMO Holding AG approves all motions

At the 42nd Annual General Meeting held in Rapperswil on April 3, 2017, the shareholders of BELIMO Holding AG were informed about the solid 2016 results. They approved all motions proposed by the Board of Directors. A dividend of CHF 75 per share will be paid out on April 7, 2017. Based on the closing price of CHF 3078 on December 31, 2016, this corresponds to a return of 2.4 percent per share.

Belimo with solid growth and increased innovative capacity

Sales in Swiss francs increased 8.2 percent to CHF 533.7 million. In currency-adjusted terms, this equals organic growth of 6.8 percent. Not only sales growth, but also continuous investments in efficiency improvements over the past few years contributed to a solid operating income (EBIT) of CHF 87.0 million (EBIT margin 16.3 percent). Net income rose by 24.1 percent year-on-year to CHF 69.8 million.

Belimo can look back on a successful year. Sales in Swiss francs increased 8.2 percent to CHF 533.7 million. In currency-adjusted terms, this equals organic growth of 6.8 percent. As expected, the higher growth seen in the first half-year of 2016 could not be continued in the second half.
