Introduction

The Inventory Control Specialist maintains accurate, reliable inventory and logistics reporting to support daily operations and leadership decisions. The role analyzes inventory adjustments, cycle count results, accuracy trends, quality, productivity, capacity, and storage utilization. Using SAP, Excel, Power BI, and warehouse management systems, the specialist validates operational data, develops standardized dashboards and scorecards, and identifies actionable improvement opportunities. The position also supports Q-Case and corrective action reporting, system testing, and inventory accuracy initiatives across Logistics/Customization.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain standardized inventory, logistics, KPI, and leadership reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
  • Analyze inventory adjustments, cycle count results, DPPM, quality, productivity, capacity, storage utilization, and inventory accuracy trends.
  • Validate data from SAP, EWM, Excel, Power BI, and warehouse management systems to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitor inventory control performance indicators, identify trends and root-cause patterns, and recommend practical improvement opportunities.
  • Support inventory accuracy initiatives, operational reviews, and reporting requirements for warehouse and logistics leadership.
  • Prepare and maintain Q-Case and corrective action reporting, including follow-up data and effectiveness measures.
  • Develop reporting tools and support system testing, implementation activities, and temporary cross-department assignments while maintaining a safe, clean workplace.

Required Expertise

  • Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • Three to five years of experience in logistics, inventory control, warehouse operations, reporting, or data analysis.
  • Speak, read, and write English.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with SAP, EWM, Power BI, or comparable reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to create dashboards and KPI reports, work independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency.

Compensation & Benefits

Belimo is committed to paying all employees in a fair, equitable and transparent manner. The base pay for this position ranges from $30 - $33 hourly with a target performance bonus of 7% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
