Belimo's production lines are responsible for manufacturing, testing, and packaging assemblies and final products. This is always done according to the Belimo principle "Quality first, time second and costs third". 

Our production in Hinwil (Switzerland) consists of three assembly lines and an additional team of maintenance technicians. We work in a 3-shift system, ensuring that thousands of actuators can leave Belimo every day.

Another production line is located in Danbury (United States). Around 100 assembly workers produce the final devices for the American market at this location.

Our production employees have a wide variety of professional and cultural backgrounds. But they all have one thing in common -  They are addicted to quality and produce the best products for our customers.

Production Engineering

Production Engineering is the equipment and software partner for our production and customization group divisions. We design automation solutions, test equipment, and other production equipment for the assembling lines in different teams. Our Production Engineers ensure the data flow from SAP to the production lines and provide data for process control and analysis.

Furthermore we create test programs for the broad variety of products, optimize existing processes and support our maintenance group.

 

Procurement

86% of our production costs are for external goods, partners and specialists. This requires an excellent procurement team. Our experts optimize total costs and support the innovation process. They manage a competitive and innovative global supply base and pursue lean, fast, flexible, and demand-driven. Furthermore, they provide high availability to our operations by knowing and managing our sourcing risks.

Global Planning and MDM

The Global Planning and MDM team knows and exceeds our customers' requirements by delivering excellent quality. Our experts define, manage and control the Planning - and MDM Processes within our Production Network. Furthermore, they are responsible for the Planning and Master Data accuracy and support our group companies in various supply chain issues to fulfill our vision.

Project & Quality Management

The Quality and Project Management department is a key partner for our supply chain functions. Our Project and Quality Engineers lead cross-functional projects, manage the global audit program, develop the supply chain strategy and are process responsible for the legal compliance of our MID-certified EnergyValve. Additionally, we are responsible for the financial control of our supply chain organizations.
