Our recruitment process
There are several ways to get in touch with Belimo for an application. You can email us, call us, or connect with a Recruiter on LinkedIn. But the easiest way to submit an application is to apply online. You simply open up the job you're interested in and click the button "Apply". Afterwards you can upload your application documents and we will get back to you within 2 weeks.
After submitting your application, our pre-selection process starts. We make every effort to complete this process within two weeks. In some cases, we will contact you by phone if there are still open questions regarding your application. Within these two weeks you will receive feedback from us on how your application process will proceed.
First round interview
If we have received a very good impression of you in the pre-selection process, we will invite you for a first interview. The first interview will take place either online via Microsoft Teams or on site at our offices. The hiring manager and a representative from Human Resources will take part in the interview.
If you have applied for a position in Switzerland, it is very likely that we will ask you to complete an online assessment after a successful first round interview. The assessment measures an individual’s personality characteristics and individual motivations in order to predict on-the-job behaviors.
Second round interview
The first interview went well, your impression of Belimo was positive and you also convinced us with your qualifications. Then we will organise a second round interview with you. In this round, we will conduct further interviews, you will get to know the team and we will take you on a tour of our building. Depending on the position, we will also conduct a business case or a trial day with you.
All discussions were positive. You were convinced of our unique corporate culture and we also think that you are a perfect fit for Belimo. Then it is time for us to agree on a contract. After we have verbally agreed to work together, we will immediately send you the employment contract so that you can start with us as soon as possible.
The time has come. Your first day at work at Belimo has arrived, and we will start with an individual onboarding programme. You will get to know your work colleagues as well as your working tools. And you will have enough time to find your ground in your new job. In addition, you will go through an official Belimo induction programme, in which you will get to know our company and the individual group divisions in the best possible way.
