Belimo Digital Twin
Belimo Digital Twin provides access to valuable product data, including historical records, commissioning reports, performance metrics, calibration data, and device setting backups - all while keeping devices simple and efficient.
It also acts as the interface between Belimo devices and external digital services like Analytics, Fault Detection and Diagnostics (FDD), Billing, Asset Management (CMMS), Predictive Maintenance, and more.

We understand the importance of an open and seamless integration of our devices into the solutions of our customers and these principles are reflected throughout our products. Our customers own the data from their devices, and can freely analyse, use, and even delete that information as they wish. This is why we provide an open Client-API to any user or entity authorised by the customer.

Networking components
Designing an efficient HVAC system requires the creation of a network of thousands of different devices. Our products give you more than what you are used to:
Direct connection for damper actuators, valve actuators, sensors and meters.
In the event that a device is to be connected directly via a higher-level network, Belimo offers various actuators with an integrated interface. This enables direct connection to field buses commonly used for HVAC without additional hardware, which eliminates additional sources of error. System integrators can integrate Belimo bus actuators and sensors into the existing software environment.
Cost-efficient integration of sensors and switching contacts.
Up to two sensors (active, passive, switching contact) can be connected directly to an actuator. The signals are digitised in the actuator and made available on the bus. This minimises planning, installation, operation and maintenance costs.
Maximum flexibility in use.
In hybrid operation, the actuator is controlled via an analogue signal and can at the same time be integrated and monitored in the building automation system via the bus. Belimo actuators thus facilitate gradual modernisation of building automation. For the time being, the existing control system can be retained and additional transparency can be created in the building by integrating the bus. In addition, our
actuators offer the greatest level of connection flexibility, since the bus protocol (BACnet, Modbus or MP- Bus) can be adapted on site using Belimo tools.
Actuators with an IoT ecosystem.
Building IoT range are connected to the Belimo Cloud ecosystem and can therefore be monitored via the internet from anywhere via an easily accessible, secure interface – the Belimo Cloud Client API. If required, it can also be controlled via the cloud. This enables third-party providers to easily access data authorised by the customer and offer web services such as energy billing, energy optimisation, building analyses and remote maintenance. They also offer two inputs for sensors to transmit actual measured values for temperature, pressure, humidity and air quality to the ecosystem. This eliminates additional I/O connections and enables easy integration of sensor values into the ecosystem.

Connectivity makes our HVAC systems smarter, but critical performance data needs to be safe and secure. That’s why Belimo Digital Ecosystem protects cloud data, ensures the device communication via secure connections and the proper management of user access rights.
Another key challenge of connectivity is data privacy – namely, who controls the data and who sees it. Belimo stores all system data in a secure repository in which only the authorised user has access to their data. This account also provides access to a user-friendly and customisable web application interface.
