Belimo at the 2026 AHR Expo
Belimo had a great showing at this year’s AHR Expo, with the booth packed for all three days. New and old customers came by to share how things are going with the products they’re already using, and to see what new Belimo products might fit into their portfolio. That mix of familiar and new faces set the tone for the show.
New Digital Generation: Faster Install, Faster Commissioning
If one thing dominated booth conversations, it was the New Digital Generation line of products, including the Non Fail-Safe GM Damper Actuator, the Motorized Butterfly Valve with GR Actuator, and the Air Differential Pressure Sensor. Attendees were impressed by the product line’s streamlined installation and commissioning, with field-replaceable cables and the toolless lever system standing out as practical improvements that reduce jobsite friction. The ethos behind the New Digital Generation is consistent across the lineup: field devices built to simplify installation, configuration, and maintenance, while supporting flexible connectivity and improved energy efficiency.
Air Differential Pressure Sensor: The Digital Difference on Display
One of the highlights within the New Digital Generation lineup was the Air Differential Pressure Sensor, a smart solution designed to improve IAQ, reduce fan energy, and simplify setup using the Belimo Assistant 2 App. The booth kicked things off with a launch celebration on Monday afternoon, where visitors could stop by to mark the debut of the new Air Differential Pressure Sensor and take home limited edition socks for the first 200 attendees. Product Specialist Moses Olimpio shared more about the new Air Differential Pressure Sensor during his New Product Theatre presentation, “The Digital Difference”, on Tuesday afternoon.
Gas Monitors: Strong Interest in the New Refrigerant Model
Belimo Gas Monitors brought in their share of traffic, too. Visitors asked a wide range of questions about the entire Gas Monitor line, but the new Refrigerant Gas Monitors garnered the most curiosity. Belimo’s refrigerant monitoring system is a complete solution for leak detection, alarming, and integration. Refrigerant Gas Monitors can be configured for a single, user-selected refrigerant from 21 options, including R134a, R404A, R410A, R454B, and others.
FSKN Remote Testing: Periodic Testing Made Simple
FSKN remote testing turned a lot of heads at the booth. The demo showed how quickly periodic testing can be completed from a laptop or phone, without having to perform the test locally at each damper. Building and fire codes require owners to test fire and smoke dampers on a set schedule, and FSKN makes that process faster, safer, and easier to document by enabling remote testing and BACnet reporting through the BAS, reducing the labor and disruption typical of manual inspections.
Energy Valve: A Proven Solution
Belimo’s flagship product, the Energy Valve, also drew steady traffic to the booth. It’s a familiar product for many attendees, but it still sparks plenty of conversation about its diverse applications. By combining control, flow measurement, and energy data in a single device, the Energy Valve simplifies commissioning, provides transparent performance verification, and supports ongoing system optimization without adding extra components.
Data Center Demands: Next-Generation Cooling and Controls
Belimo was also represented in the AHR Panel Series focused on next-generation data center cooling. Ken Duncan, Lead Data Center Application Consultant, served as a panelist for “Data Center Demands: Cooling Solutions, BMS Advancement and the Next Generation of HVAC” on Tuesday morning. The discussion centered on the strategies and technologies shaping how data centers approach cooling and system control.
Retrofits in Focus: Applying the Right Rules to Existing Buildings
Belimo’s footprint at AHR 2026 went well beyond the booth itself. Daniel Caldwell, Business Manager for RetroFIT+ in the Americas, joined the Automated Buildings seminar “Innovative Methods for Retrofitting” on Tuesday afternoon. The message was straightforward: retrofits require a different approach than new construction, and success depends on balancing performance, cost, and complexity so systems deliver long-term results.
Looking Ahead
AHR 2026 reinforced what we hear every day in the field: the market is looking for solutions that make installation easier, commissioning faster, and long-term performance easier to verify and maintain. From the New Digital Generation product line to remote damper testing, refrigerant monitoring, and the Energy Valve, the conversations at the booth reflected a clear focus on practical innovation. Belimo appreciates everyone who stopped by, asked questions, and shared what they’re seeing on real projects, and we look forward to continuing those conversations throughout the year.
