Conditions of participation

1. Subject of conditions of participation and organiser

1. These terms and conditions govern the terms and conditions for entry into the competition shared on Belimo's LinkedIn account on 13 June 2022.
    
2. The organiser of the competition is BELIMO Automation AG Brunnenbachstrasse 1, 8340 Hinwil, Switzerland (Belimo).
    
3. By participating in the competition, these conditions of participation are accepted.
    
4. The competition is not affiliated with LinkedIn. It is not sponsored, endorsed or organised by LinkedIn.
    

2. Participation

1. Anyone over the age of 18 and resident in Switzerland is eligible to enter the competition. Employees of Belimo and relatives of such employees are excluded. Participation with fake identities or with identities of third parties is not permitted.
    
2. A further condition is that the user correctly answers the question posed in the competition and places the answer as a comment under the competition entry. Multiple comments are not permitted and will lead to exclusion from participation.
    
3. Participation is open from 13 June 2022 08:00 until 26 June 2022 at 23:59.
    
4. Participation in the competition is free of charge and does not oblige to conclude a legal transaction.
    

3. Winnings and notification of winnings

1. Belimo will raffle an experience voucher from MyDays worth CHF 500 among all eligible participants.
    
2.  The winner will be selected at random from all eligible participants within one week of the closing date. The winners will be announced via the comment function under the same post and requested to send an e-mail to an e-mail address stated there, in which the personal data is submitted in full in an orderly and truthful manner. This information is used solely for the purpose of sending the prize. As soon as the prize has been handed over, all data of the winner will be deleted.
    
3. If Belimo does not receive an e-mail from a winner within the two-week period, the claim to the prize expires. In this case, Belimo is entitled to conduct a replacement raffle.
    
4. enly one prize is possible per participant.
    
5. The prize is not transferable, nor can the prize be exchanged or paid out in cash. 
    

4. Liability and indemnification

1. By entering the competition, the participant releases LinkedIn from any liability.
    

5. Exclusion

1. A breach of these conditions of participation entitles Belimo to exclude the respective participant from participation. This applies in particular if the participant provides false information. The same applies to comments that may be considered glorifying violence, offensive, harassing or derogatory or that otherwise violate social decency.
    
2. If the excluded participant is a winner who has already been selected, the prize may be subsequently withdrawn.
    

6. Early termination and amendments

Belimo reserves the right to terminate the competition prematurely in whole or in part at any time, even without observing deadlines, or to change its course if it is not possible to guarantee proper implementation of the competition for technical reasons (e.g. computer virus, manipulation of or errors in software/hardware) or legal reasons (e.g. prohibition by LinkedIn).
 

7. Data protection

Belimo is responsible for the collection, processing and use of participants' personal data insofar as Belimo processes such data itself. Belimo will only use the participant's personal details and other personal data within the framework of the statutory provisions of data protection law. Belimo will only store, process and use the information to the extent that this is necessary for the implementation of the competition or the participant has given their consent. This also includes use for exercising the rights of use granted. The data will only be used to carry out the competition and will then be deleted.

The participant can request information on the data stored about him/her at any time. In all other respects, Belimo's privacy policy applies accordingly, which can be accessed at https://www.belimo.com/ch/en_GB/privacy.
 

8. Final provisions

1. Should the conditions of participation contain invalid provisions, the validity of the remaining conditions shall remain unaffected.
    
2. Swiss law shall apply exclusively; exclusive place of jurisdiction is Hinwil. Legal recourse to review the raffle is excluded.
